Progressive Huddle: QAPI Making it Meaningful
Disclaimer: In 2024, AAAHC released the v43 Accreditation Standards. Prior to this, under the v42 Standards, facilities were required to conduct a 10-step QI study template. Under the v43, these steps have been consolidated into six (6) steps. Therefore, webinars presented prior to implementation of this update will discuss the 10-step QI study template.
You invest time and talent in QAPI activities. Are your efforts translating into real quality improvement in your ASC? Or, are you going though the motions, buried in the paper shuffle? This Huddle will present examples of QAPI activities that made a positive impact on quality in the center. Reminder: Regulations and standards are constantly evolving.
