Progressive Half Time: Leading From The Middle

Flat organizations tend to empower managers. ASC Clinical Directors who command the respect and support of their facility staff are able to shine in their management role. However their effectiveness as an organizational leader can be diminished by disengagement and a lack of leadership at the Governing Body level. You know the challenges; refusal to address peer review issues, unwillingness to approve an equitable compensation plan, turning a bind eye to “bad boy” behavior in the OR, etc. etc.

Don’t miss this very relevant presentation on “Leading from the Middle”, a leadership primer specifically developed for ASC Clinical Directors.
